Divix Golf was initially founded as a partnership in 1992 under the name of GT Knives. Todd Jones, the founder of Divix Golf along with Greg Bark, manufactured high-quality tactical switchblade knives that were distributed to law enforcement agencies and the United States Military.

In early part of 98', Mr. Jones had an idea to pursue a similar switchblade-like product using a fork rather than a knife blade. Within a day a prototype was constructed out of aluminum and contained 3 key features. The Divix divot tool was born.

Today we continue to push the performance capabilities for all our products with an unmatched commitment to research and development. We converted that passion into the #1 Divot Repair Tool dating back to the tool's patent in 99'.

• Production of the aluminum handled tool began in late 1998
• In 2000 the carbon graphite would eventually replace that
• aluminum after an incredible response and sales.
• Divix Golf became its own corporation branching off from GT Knives in 2002.
• In 2005 Divix Golf developed a mini hat clip with removable ball marker
• One year in 2006 the Groover was launched.
  (A switchblade brush tool with retractable scribe and adjustable length brush for cleaning club faces).
• In 2008 the Thruster GP divot tool line was introduced.
